The region is internationally renowned for its authenticity. Local cocoa is very fragrant and has no analogues. All cocoa from this zone is well fermented. It is usually dried on open concrete platforms equipped with a movable roof.

Plantations are located in a mountainous area in the vicinity of the village Patanemo, state of Carabobo.

Prices are calculated per kg on a minimum of one bag.
